Red Envelope: Gorgeous Gifts to Please Any Mom (w. giveaway)

My family knows that when I unplug, I prefer to spend time in our yard so anything related to gardening is always a welcome gift. This year I let my husband use Red Envelope to shop for Mother’s Day gifts. I always love their high quality gifts and the ease of shopping so knew he couldn’t go wrong by selecting anything from the site for me.

I logged into my account and then turned him loose to browse the site with the kids by his side. After hushed conversation and excited whispers, they reported success in choosing a gift that they know I’ll love.

My husband loved how easy it was to order from Red Envelope. He noted that our account kept the names and addresses of those who we had sent gifts to previously and loved that we could use our PayPal balance to pay the difference of the order or charge to a credit card. He also liked that he could select a delivery date for the order to ensure that I would be home to receive it.

Yesterday UPS delivered a large box and everyone was so excited for me to open it that it was impossible for me to insist on waiting until next Sunday to open it on Mother’s Day.

What could they not wait for me to see? The Cottage Bird House ($79.99) that I secretly hoped would be my gift!

Stunning in the photo on the website, the Cottage Bird House was even more beautiful when I unboxed it. Designed for outdoor use, the Cottage Bird House is almost too gorgeous to expose to the elements. Measuring over a foot tall and wide with cedar shingles, a white painted wraparound porch, and detailed windows make it a bird’s dream home. Now the only question is where in our yard we should put it for our fine feathered friends to make their home!

I LOVE Red Envelope! I’ve gotten jewelry from there before and it is always great quality and looks even better in real life so I think I’d have to choose the mother of pearl earrings. But I also love the birds on a wire personalized print — so hard to choose!
