Since it’s still June and it’s still National Safety Month for at least a few more days, I thought I’d take the risk of sounding like a nag to remind you to store medicines up and away especially as you embark on summer vacations.

Since kids can get into cabinets at relative’s houses, check the bathroom and other low cabinets and shelves for any items that might pose a risk. Also check your cabinets and drawers before hosting houseguests. After all, it would be a shame for anyone to have to spend precious vacation time taking a side trip to the for accidental medicine ingestion.
