Gifts that give back. Ethical fashion. Conscious shopping. Social good. I’ve seen how the choices we make as consumers can make a huge difference in the lives of others in Haiti and am more inclined to support a company whose products help better the lives of others.
One company I love is Sevenly. I fell in love with their beautifully designed t-shirts that benefit different charitable causes and am now in love with their CAUSEBOX. The CAUSEBOX is a seasonal selection of socially conscious products for women.
What does socially-conscious mean?
It means that these products:
- Generously give back to underprivileged communities
- Provide jobs and sustainable income in underdeveloped areas of the world
- Raise awareness for different charitable initiatives
- Empower people, help people, and make the world a better place
- Are made ethically
With a curated set of products with the ability to make a huge impact for others around the globe, it’s hard to say no to CAUSEBOX.
About CAUSEBOX
CAUSEBOX is available every quarter. Choose to subscribe for the year or give/purchase just one. Regardless of whether you’re a subscriber or a one time buyer, every box contains at least $150 worth of products and 7% of every purchase is given back to charity for each box sold.
Your charity of choice can be the recipient of the money donated by SEVENLY or if you let them designate one on your behalf, they’ll let you know how the funds were used. For example, the $3500 raised from the sale of the first CAUSEBOX benefitted Jessie Rees Foundation to first box, we were able to donate $3,500 to the Jessie Rees Foundation. Not only did Sevenly donate money to a foundation whose mission is to provide joy and hope for children who have been diagnosed with cancer but the team also took a break from work and visited to create joyful experiences for incredible children.

What can you expect inside a CAUSEBOX?
Getting Sevenly’s regular emails about their products and designs gave me a little clue about what was inside but I was thrilled to open it up and see everything in person. Whether you know what’s coming or you’re surprised, you won’t be disappointed!
Here’s a peek at what’s inside Sevenly’s second ever CAUSEBOX
Jewelry
Tribe-Alive Bracelet— This colorful chic beaded bracelet is handmade by women in Honduras under fair trade working conditions. Each piece contributes to community development and job creation in developing countries. This Sevenly exclusive was designed in partnership by two world-changing companies and amazing artisans! This collaboration bracelet alone helped Tribe- Alive provide 20 jobs for women in Honduras.
Half United “Fighting Hunger” Necklace— Each “Fighting Hunger” necklace incorporates three hand- polished recycled bullet casings to take a strong stance in the fight against hunger. Half United’s mission is to use fashion to provide aid for world hunger. Half of their profits from every product sold directly to global hunger relief efforts. Made in Downtown Los Angeles, these beautifully powerful necklaces are symbolic of a movement away from violence in the direction of positive change even though Sevenly admits that the use of bullets in the fabrication of this necklace can be a bit polarizing.
Home Accessories
Perf Turkish Towel—Perf is short for perfect and Sevenly agrees with their exclusive Turkish Towel that’s the perfect-est, soft-est, beautiful-est home accessory. Flat woven in Turkey, these towels are highly absorbent, fast-drying, and roll up perfectly for easy packing. The Perf complements Spring beach and park outings and even though Sevenly says it’s more of a home accessory, it softens in the wash, making it a fabulous scarf too! Perf gives 15% of profits to community development projects in Haiti.
“Good Day” Sevenly Cling— Shouldn’t our days begin with positivity? After all, a positive thought in the morning can change your whole day and what better way to remind yourself to cherish every day than to wake up to the words “Today is a Good Day”?! This window and mirror cling is a Sevenly original product. Peel it on and off windows and mirrors but the message sticks with you throughout your whole day.
Denik “Be The Change” Journal— This is one of my favorite quotes. I love it SO much that I have a Sevenly shirt with this same artwork and am thrilled to have the journal too. This journal is the perfect companion for all world- changers, day dreamers, doodlers, and to-do listers because it encourages action. A portion from every notebook that Denik sells goes toward funding schools in developing countries through amazing foundations like Pencils of Promise.
Tasty Things
Smarty Pants Vitamins— Smarty Pants partners with Vitamin Angels to give vitamins to a child in need for every bottle of vitamins that they sell. Together they have helped over 500,000 at-risk children and counting! These vitamins are made in California and they are so tasty and nutrient-rich that you just might quit Kale and Quinoa 🙂 Stay nutritious and change the world all at once through these tasty gummy vitamins.
Good Spread Peanut Butter & Honey Packet— Unless you have a peanut allergy or sensitivity, most of us eat peanut butter already. When Sevenly found out that they could feed the hungry just by switching over to Good Spread Peanut Butter, it was a no-brainer. With the perfect honey to peanut butter ratio, it’s pretty much the best peanut butter I’ve ever had! Ok, well the kids had. Because they devoured the sample and we’ve added more to our shopping list!
Wonderful things inside an inspiring box that does good things for people around the world. CAUSEBOX is a new favorite from a company I’m already smitten with and know you will be too.
So do yourself a favor and make Mother’s Day shopping easy on yourself this year and order a CAUSEBOX for your mom while changing the lives of others through your purchase.
I received a sample CAUSEBOX for the purpose of this review but am a longtime Sevenly fan whose other purchases are always personally funded.
