This is part of a sponsored series with Kohl’s.
If you’re already dreading back to school shopping and the mental anguish that comes with trying to find the exact items on each child’s school supply list and replenishing a wardrobe with clothes that fit just right, make it easier on yourself with one stop shopping. This year a single visit to Kohl’s can take care of all your back to school shopping needs thanks to their new partnership with Office Max. Along with apparel, accessories like backpacks and lunchboxes, Kohl’s has a wide range of school supplies to satisfy even the most selective student.
This year Little Miss Techie will start fifth grade and like many tweens, she’s developed a style that’s uniquely her own. Her wardrobe consists of sportswear, dresses, and everything in between but is a discriminating shopper. She tends to only want to buy what she needs while avoiding anything overly sparkly or ridiculously bright. Together we visited Kohl’s to see what fashionable and on-trend items from their back to school collection might work well for her for this year and to check out their selection of school supplies from Office Max.
With a closet already filled with dresses and skirts, my daughter gravitated towards sportswear for the fall soccer season. Solid colored Fila Sport Performance Ts (regularly $22 but on sale for $9.99) T-shirts bearing positive messages about girls and sports were her first picks but she also found a couple dresses that would look great with her jean jacket, and couldn’t resist the wall of accessories.
While she spent a lot of time looking, my practical girl only bought the items she thought she might need for her new school year but I’m sure we’ll return to Kohl’s for pants and long sleeve tops when the weather starts to get colder. It was hard to think ahead to crisp fall days in the middle of DC’s hot and humid summer!
School supplies were next on our agenda and with Office Max displays in the aisles near the kids’ clothing departments, Kohl’s made it easy to check items off our list. The new Office Max displays featured folders, composition books mechanical and standard #2 pencils, crayons, pens, erasers, colored pencils, dry erase markers, and small rolls of Duck Tape in fun patterns perfect for personalizing school supplies by favorite brands like Crayola, Expo, Bic, Elmer’s, Scotch, and more.
I love a great deal on school supplies so I can stock up and replenish the stock in the classroom mid-year when items start to run out so I appreciated that all of the items were 20% off and my online coupon allowed me to save an additional 15% off my purchase!
