A big thanks to Disney Baby for sponsoring this post and the Disney Baby “Little Character” Contest.
As a parent, there are many magical moments from our kids’ childhoods that we fondly recall with nostalgia and love. Yesterday on my flight home from E3, I happened to be sitting a couple rows behind an adorable baby girl who was probably about 6 months old. She was standing on her mother’s lap and smiling a big open mouthed smile at each person as they boarding the plane.
I was immediately transported back to the times we traveled with Little Miss Techie before she was a year old. Her first flight at 5 months old was to El Paso for the christening of a friend’s twins in Juarez, Mexico. As new parents doing anything for the first time, we were nervous but she handled the trip well and it paved the way for many that followed.

Before she was a year old, she traveled to San Francisco to see her grandparents, Los Angeles for a friend’s wedding, made a trip to Puerto Rico for a Thanksgiving getaway, and back to San Francisco for Christmas.

The baby girl on my flight reminded me of how easy it was to travel with our kids when they were little but how having early exposure to different modes of transportation has helped them develop into experienced travelers with whom I hope to share the world as they grow older.
