Do your kids love to play with your computer as much as mine? Do they commonly rename your files and threaten to erase important documents? Mine do!
Little Miss Techie inadvertently rearranges bookmarks trying to visit Clifford in his online world. Captain Computer climbs into my chair and commonly finds keystroke combinations that do wonders to my computer. I had to resort to locking my computer via password to prevent serious damage at least until John of Silver Spring recommended AlphaBaby.
Created by a parent whose children threatened to rename the hard drive to “axlfkaj,” AlphaBaby is free downloadable software that is a parent’s dream for young children because it enables infants and toddlers to have fun playing with the computer. Every time Captain Computer bangs on key or Little Miss Techie clicks the mouse, a letter or shape is drawn on the screen. Each time something is drawn on the screen it is accompanied by a sound. While we are enjoying the novelty of the multitude of colorful shapes and letters at the moment, you can also use your own sounds and pictures to personalize AlphaBaby for your child.
According to the creator, AlphaBaby helps kids to learn letters, plus provides a safe environment for kids to have fun typing on the keyboard. Both an application and screen saver version of AlphaBaby are provided in the free download.
Download AlphaBaby and your children will be on their way to creating fabulous works of art much like this one while you rest easy that the days of mysteriously named documents are over.
Thank you John!
