The kids and I made it to California, specifically Palo Alto- my hometown and the heart of Silicon Valley which is home to the tech companies we know, love, and can’t live without like Apple, Hewlett Packard, eBay, PayPal, and Yahoo.
Speaking of Yahoo….I’m so excited (like BlogHer excited!) about spending the next two days with 59 of my favorite blogging moms (there are 80 of us total!) at the Yahoo MotherBoard Summit which has been dubbed “The Mother of All Conferences.” Yahoo is treating us to swanky poolside cocktails and appetizers tonight at the Four Seasons followed by an entire day at Yahoo HQs for some amazing learning combined with trips to the free (!) espresso bar.
I’ll be sure to do a recap of the MotherBoard Summit here but if you’d like to follow along on Twitter, make sure you are following me (@TechSavvyMama) and search for the hashtag #YMotherBoard so you can get up to the minute reports about The Mother of All Conferences.
As a Yahoo MotherBoard member, Yahoo covered all of my expenses to come to the Summit. I am not required me to blog or tweet about any of the events associated with the conference but when I do, all opinions are my own.
