Nothing warms my heart more than a handmade card. The many I’ve saved are like little time capsules that remind me of how Little Miss Techie and Captain Computer have grown up through the years.
Early cards were full sheets of paper covered in stickers and crayon lines or amorphous shapes drawn with washable markers. Then as fine motor skills developed, pseudo-hearts started appearing. Now we’ve progressed to more complicated cards that are folded rectangles stuffed in elaborately decorated envelopes, full sentences with punctuation declaring love for the recipient, and creative art with the addition of sparkly objects.
This fabulous video from Tiny Prints makes me think of all the wonderful Mother’s Day cards I’ve gotten from my kids throughout the years! Be sure to watch to see the amazing offer at the end of the video!
Since the best Mother’s Day cards are the ones you spend time making, I’m excited to be working with Tiny Prints and Clever Girls Collective to host an event that brings people together to create special cards for the wonderful women in their lives. There may or may not be macaroni!
