It’s such a pleasure to serve on the Blogger Advisory Council for the American Cancer Society. Not only do I get to work with amazing women and help an incredible organization through my work, but I love the way the MoreBirthdays.com campaign uses social media to spread the word about creating a world with less cancer and more birthdays through eCards that can be personalized with beautiful artwork and the Happy Birthday song sung by famous recording artists like Keith Urban, Colbie Caillat, Celine Dion, Gloria Gaynor, Jack Johnson, Sean Kingston, Maroon 5, Ricky Martin (in Spanish or English!), Plain White Ts, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jordin Sparks, Weezer, Village People, and even a duet featuring Justin Bieber and Usher.
Recently MoreBirthdays.com was one of the sponsors of Mom 2.0 Summit in New Orleans. I had the pleasure of being part of a giant birthday bash featuring cupcakes and gifts of gorgeous wrapping paper featuring the artwork for everyone who attended and MoreBirthdays.com t-shirts.
Here are some photos of the birthday bash but the photos can’t capture the spirit of a giant room full of people singing happy birthday and then blowing out the candles on the mini cupcakes all at once. It was truly moving!

I didn’t take a photo of our amazing crew of volunteers who helped roll and tie ribbons around sets of wrapping paper for Mom 2.0 participants to take home. Huge thanks to Amy Mascott (aka TeachMama) who delayed dinner and pitched in to help us roll lots and lots of sheets of wrapping paper!
The gift wrap that was gifted to Mom 2.0 attendees is available for purchase. Each item purchased or donation made will help the American Cancer Society raise money and save more lives to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of items go directly to the American Cancer Society, which helps people stay well, get well, find cures and fight back against cancer.
I am a volunteer member of American Cancer Society’s Blogger Advisory Council. As a sponsor of Mom 2.0, MoreBirthdays.com provided me with my conference pass to attend the conference. I was not required to blog about my experience or share information about MoreBirthdays.com. All opinions are my own.
