I love that they’re starting to take notice of cars on the road and in-car vehicle features. They ask questions about the logos on vehicles driving by as well as the names of various models. They’re expert button pushers who stress test everything from the windows in the back seat to the radio when sitting in the parked car in our driveway and trying to pull up favorite songs on satellite radio.
For us, a car is an investment and must to meet all of our needs. (By all, I even mean the family dog who loves car rides almost as much as being fed, walks, and squirrels.) By involving our kids in test drives and having conversations about cars, I feel like I’m doing my part to provide them with an early education that will make them knowledge consumers.
