This is a sponsored post written as part of my involvement with the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility.
What’s harder? The anticipation of having a tough conversation with your kids or the conversation itself? As a parent, I’ve found that openness and honesty is key to the lifetime of conversations that I will have with my kids. They know they can come to talk to me about anything and at any time because we’ve worked hard to create an open-door policy in our home.
Recently the Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility (FAAR) asked me how I talk to my daughter and son about underage drinking. I hope my 30 second video will inspire you to start your own conversation with your kids because you’re the leading influence on your kid’s decision to drink – or not drink – alcohol.
Listen to more real advice from my fellow bloggers on FAAR’s YouTube Channel and visit responsibility.org for additional resources and tips to keep kids safe.
As a #TalkEarly ambassador, I am compensated for my involvement but all opinions are my own.
