It’s hard to believe that my little girl is 13 and in just a couple short years she will be learning how to drive. When she was born, the first hybrid vehicles had been on the market for just a few years and while we considered them as an option for our family car, the current models fell short. They felt too light to be safe for our new baby girl and seemed to be missing some of the features we had become accustomed to. This past weekend we had the opportunity to test Kia EcoDynamic vehicles at the Green Festival in Washington, D.C. This event kicks off Green Festivals around the country where consumers can come learn about eco-friendly vehicles and test drive vehicles like the Soul, Niro, and Optima Hybrid.
Kia is recognized as one of the Best Global Green Brands and the Green Festival allowed our family to learn more about their Hybrid, Plug-In Hybrid, and EV vehicles and the benefits of Eco Efficiency in a no-pressure way.
While you can visit a local dealership to learn about the vehicles and go for a test drive, I appreciated learning more about the green features of the models on hand from knowledgeable representatives like Matt!

In our short ride around the block I learned about fuel efficiency, recycled materials used in the manufacturing of the different models, and could really speak to the difference about why a hybrid versus a plug-in might be a better choice for our lifestyle. Or vice versa.
