If you remember watching the 1993 movie version of Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams, relive the heartwarming story about family as Washington, D.C.’s National Theater kicks off their season with Mrs. Doubtfire from October 10-15.
About Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical
As parents, there’s not much we wouldn’t do for our children. When struggling, out of work actor, Daniel Hillard, loses custody of his kids in a messy divorce, he becomes Scottish nanny, Eugenia Doubtfire, to stay in their lives. Being his alter ego teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father. This hilarious and heartfelt story is about holding on to your loved ones against all odds and proves that we’re better together.
The national tour of Mrs. Doubtfire stars two-time Tony nominee, Rob McClure, alongside co-star, Maggie Lakis, who is his wife in real life.
