Tomorrow I’m heading to TWIN Camp, a chance to learn about all things Toyota as part of my involvement in the Toyota Women’s Influencer Network. Trips like these not only provide a drive experience but also an in-depth look at the company beyond the cars they sell.
I’ll be learning about many of the factors that consumers look for when purchasing a car such as vehicle technology (telematics) and safety features but I’ll also have the opportunity to learn about Toyota’s manufacturing process and the history of the company. After attending Ford Green last January, I’m curious about the continuing efforts to develop cutting edge hybrid technology to help eliminate our dependency on fossil fuel. I’m also very interested in talking to company experts to learn about the company’s environmental and corporate philanthropy practices.
One of the ways that Toyota gives back is through their 100 Cars for Good program. For the second year, Toyota has put a call out to nonprofit organizations to submit applications if they are in need of vehicles. Applications are going to be accepted beginning on March 12 and the 100 recipients will be determined by a public vote.
Take a look at the positive impact that the 100 Cars for Good program had on last year’s nonprofit winners.

I was selected for participation in the TWIN community through a program with Clever Girls Collective. I was not compensated for writing this post, nor did I receive payment in exchange for participating but Toyota is covering the expenses for my trip. All opinions are my own and do not reflect the views of Toyota.
