Tech Savvy Mama’s Birthday Wish List

With all the blogging I’m doing, I’m thinking I’d like a really sweet monitor. The bigger the better. I’m talkin’ 30″ Apple Cinema Display. When you are combing websites to research the best thing to do for toddlers and preschoolers in the DC Metro Area for Being Savvy Washington DC or testing out great websites for kids for Tech Savvy Mama while trying to write a post in another window, then yes, size really does matter. Right now I feel like I’m limping along with my current monitor which, while a good size, still forces me to shrink the windows into super-narrow-nothingness and click back and forth. Somehow I like to think I’d be more productive. Just maybe. And my desk would look super sleek!

Or a new laptop because my trusty iBook died a horrible death when I took it to Florida and I miss having a laptop terribly. As much as I love my Mini, portability would be nice. I could blog while watching TV instead of doing my online shopping in front of the TV like my husband said I used to do. (BTW- Not true!) As much as I like the MacBook Air, I have a feeling Captain Computer could fling it across the room and shatter it into a million tiny pieces. That would be tragic. I covet the MacBook Pro but the MacBook would do just fine.

And lastly the new iPhone without having to worry about the cost of the monthly service.

I’ll be right in Steve Jobs’ neighborhood when I go to BlogHer. Perhaps I should knock on his door and profess my love for all things Apple.
