What I did this weekend…

Imbibed fabulous wine from Mad Housewife Cellars, laughed, and had an all around great time with fellow DC Metro Moms bloggers! Many of us hadn’t seen each other since this summer’s BlogHer or the Race (Sweat) for the Cure so it was a true reunion.

It was so wonderful to see Why Mommy, Stimey, Linda from Monkey Business and Baby Bunching, MamaBird, and Where’s My Cape?’s KC while meeting the faces attached to Caffeinated, My Party of Six, and Crunchy-Chewy Mama.

Thanks to the lovely Nicole (aka BananaBlueberry) for hosting such a lovely get together and Mad Housewife Cellars for providing the wine, bowl full of emery boards, and rockin’ pink spatula which I will use often. (Seriously. I have a spatula collection but didn’t have a pink one before this event.)

And a mental note to self: Perhaps it is not so smart to be the designated driver when heading out to a wine party especially when the winery is more than generous with the libations. The few sips of Chardonnay I had were absolutely delicious and to quote Ferris Bueller, “It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.”
