I’m home from an absolutely amazing weekend at Blogalicious where there was so much love, sharing, camaraderie, and learning that it will take me a couple more days to digest my learning to be able to share it with you.
Now that I am home, I have to thank those who helped me get to Blogalicious in the first place…
Thank you to the ladies of MamaLaw whose had a vision for the conference and executed it with perfection. I truly appreciate them having selected me to be a Blogalicious Ambassador and was happy to help them in exchange for my conference registration. When they asked me to speak, it was a no-brainer! I was honored to speak with Corvida Raven and Angela Benton about how I took my blog to the next level and appreciate their help in defraying my travel costs.
Secondly, thanks to the companies that reached out to me because of the relationship we have developed since I started blogging. While I would have loved to win a fully funded trip to BlogHer2010 in NYC next summer after being chosen as one of their top 10 finalists, I was thrilled that Mabel’s Labels provided Mama Cards for me to use as my business cards and goodie bags full of samples and pens to give to attendees in exchange for help with my lodging. Mabel’s Labels offer a great selection of labels that are as much for the household as they are for moms to ensure that their kids’ clothing comes home every day. As someone who thrives on organization, my new favorite is the Cord Control pack because it helps even a non-technical person become tech savvy so you know which cord goes to which gadget!
Lands’ End is a company that I love and they provided me with great looks for the preconference meetup and also throughout the conference. As a 5’ 4” curvy woman that is sometimes considered a petite and other times not, I appreciate that Lands’ End clothes are consistently sized, comfortable, and fit my lifestyle as a mom and also a working woman. My professional look for my panel was Lands’ End from head to toe and transitioned nicely for all of the late night parties. And for those who complimented me on my purple top, it was the Original Silk Shell in Winter Violet paired with the Original Commuter Jackie Pants! Today’s more casual outfit was the Iris Original Silk Cotton Pintuck Ruffle Shell with a pair of UltraFit Jackie Bootcut Jeans and these great flats.
Thanks also to the many sponsors of Blogalicious and the amazing staff of the W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta for your generosity and graciousness that ensured that this would truly be a groundbreaking conference. I will be sharing more about what I learned from the conference sponsors in future posts!
Finally…..Big thanks to all the women who were at the conference this weekend and especially my roommates- Sandie (aka UrbanMama) and Kim from Passion and Art– and honorary roommates Devra and Kim! You made it so fun!
I’m offering anyone who wasn’t at Blogalicious the chance to win 1 of 2 Mabel’s Labels prize packs valued at $63. The prize packs contain contain a gift certificate for both the Mabel’s Camp/School Pack and Mama Cards in your choice of design.

I had such a lovely time with you, and I would “sleep with you” any time! (Ha ha — she was my roomie, folks). Seriously, we have to room together in Miami next year; it’s my hometown, so we can go have fab Cuban food together. Thank you for encouraging me to go.
I so wish I were there! Looks like you had a blast–and thanks to the videos from @anandeleeke it’s like I was there! Love it–

Sounds like so much fun – sure I’d love to attend next year: great giveaways and lots of fabulous women! I could definitely use the mabel’s labels. Sweatshirts tend to live at Leo’s school for a couple of weeks before making their way home.. ; )

It was great, great, great meeting you! Had such a wonderful time and was such an amazing and inspiring weekend. Looking forward to following your blog!
Love hearing about the conference and can’t wait to hear more!
But don’t enter me in the Mabel’s Labels giveaway – you already hooked me up at BlogHer and they sent me some that I love (I need to write about how much I love them too….)
I think it would be a great way to meet some wonderful bloggers and to think about the focus & purpose of my blog.
It sounds like it was a great time. Also, I checked out the facebook page and love that you had free childcare and some great speakers. Thanks for the opportunity! twodarlingdaughters (at) gmail (dot) com
