Friend, former SV Moms Group blogger for Chicago, and Chicagonista founder, MJ Tam, wrote asking for help.
She’s looking for parents with children between the ages of 8-17 years who would be willing to let their kids fill out an anonymous survey called “Kids & Facebook – The Honest Lowdowns by Kids under 18 using Facebook.”
MJ is working on an article on Kids’ Digital Lives and has also been approached by the Chicago school district to present a series of seminars to educate parents about online applications and safety issues.
“We belong to a high tech school and at least half of the parents have no idea. And kids opening FB accounts are getting younger.”
Oh so true!
If you can help MJ out, please feel free to review the survey before asking your child to take it.
Thanks for your help!
