If you’ve come looking for a gift guide, I have to apologize! An exciting freelance opportunity with a very short deadline combined with a BitMoms Twitter Party and kids home sick 3 out of 5 days this week meant that my blogging schedule went out the window! There’s some serious blogging planned for the weekend so gift guides can resume next week but I’m going to take a break to catch a special preview of Tangled! Here’s the details with an awesome giveaway great for anyone who eagerly anticipates this newest Disney film!
Next week Walt Disney Pictures will release their 50th full length animated feature when Tangled comes out on Wednesday, November 24. If you’re excited about this newest Disney movie, you’ll be even more excited to score some movie swag in the form of a gift pack containing a Tangled t-shirt and Tangled SillyBandz. 3 lucky readers will win.
Here’s a little about the movie from Disney:
When the kingdom’s most wanted—and most charming—bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) hides out in a mysterious tower, he’s taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn’s curious captor, who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs. In theaters this holiday season in Disney Digital 3D™, “Tangled” is a story of adventure, heart, humor and hair—lots of hair.
And what about the characters?
Disney says that Rapunzel may have lived her entire life locked inside a hidden tower, but she’s is no damsel in distress. The girl with the 70 feet of golden hair is an energetic, inquisitive teenager who fills her days with art, books, and imagination. Rapunzel is full of curiosity about the outside world, and she can’t help but feel that her true destiny lies outside of the lonely tower walls. The ultra-confident Flynn Rider is his own biggest fan, and he has long relied on his wit, charm and good looks to get out of even the stickiest situation – and Flynn’s life just happens to be full of sticky situations. Flynn is a thief looking for the one last, big score that will allow him to finally live the life he’s always dreamed of. He’s never been closer to having it all when he meets Rapunzel, an odd girl with ridiculously long hair. Rapunzel seems to be the only girl in the world immune to Flynn’s moves, and for the first time ever he seems to have met his match.

My favorite Disney movie is Sleeping Beauty.
I already saw Tangled at an advanced screening & absolutely loved it. I hope I can win some prizes from Tangled. It was a wonderful movie in the same style of the old traditional Disney princess movies. That’s why I loved it so much. Thanks.
