DC Readers: Laurie Berkner Band Coming to Lisner in March (w. giveaway)

Captain Computer and Little Miss Techie have been listening to Laurie Berkner for years and are thrilled that she’s making a stop at GW’s Lisner Auditorium on Sunday, March 6 for a Live Birthday Concert! 
The one day tour stop will include two performances on March 6 with one at 11 am and another at 3 pm.
Here’s some information about the Live Birthday Concert from Laurie Berkner’s site:
Children’s music superstars and Nick Jr. channel favorites Laurie Berkner, Susie Lampert (keyboards), Adam Bernstein (bass), and Bob Golden (drums/percussion) will perform a live “Birthday Party” concert on Sunday, March 6 at 11AM and again at 3pm. The band will play old and new hits, including songs from 2008’s critically acclaimed CD Rocketship Run.
What do you bring to a Birthday Party concert?
  • Wear your favorite party hat. 
  • Picture of a birthday cake that can be downloaded from the website and colored in 
  • An animal for your head because animals have birthdays too.

  • Sunday, March 6 at GW Lisner Auditorium
  • Performances at 11am and 3 pm.  Doors open half and hour prior to the performance start time
  • Tickets are $25 and $35 each and are available online.

We’ll be at the concert singing along to favorites like Under a Shady Tree, The Valley of Vegetables, Bottle Caps, and The Toy Museum and thanks to I.M.P. Concerts, you could be joining us!

    I love the song that goes “I’m gonna catch you, you’d better run!” bumblebee and under the shady tree!we have four of her albums and love her. She is the only kids artist I can stand.
