With over 28,000 Redbox kiosks nationwide, it’s easy to find one in your neighborhood. They tend to be placed in locations where you already shop such as grocery stores, drugstores, restaurants, convenience stores, and big box stores. I find that there’s always one convenient to where I am and they are hard to miss! To find your closest Redbox, text FIND to 727272 or download the free Redbox app for iPhone® or Android™.
One feature that I like about Redbox is I can check my neighborhood kiosk to see what is available to rent before leaving the house. I can browse through movies by top 20, genre, DVD, Blu-ray, etc. or games according to game system, genre, and rating through the easy to use website. Search Xbox 360, Wii, or Playstation with a click of a button and see what is currently available.
Once you find movies and games you like, they can be reserved through the website and held at the Redbox near you until 9 pm the next day and can be claimed by visiting the kiosk and pressing the “Online Rental Pickup” button.
If you’re out and feeling spontaneous, it’s also easy to rent directly from the Redbox kiosk. Visit your neighborhood location and tell it whether you want to rent a movie or a game. Browse through titles and touch to learn more about it. When you’re ready to rent, just press the “Add to Cart” button. Redbox allows you to rent as many movies as you’d like before you check out and pay with your credit card.
Redbox is also offering daily prizes until December 24 through their 12 Days of Deals & Prizes. Text FUN to 727272 for instant savings of 25 cents – $1 off of your movie and game rentals, as well as a chance to be entered to win a daily prize from Redbox. Each day, a random drawing will select a winner with top prizes from Sony, Wii, Barnes & Noble, Activision and more.
I received Redbox codes to try the service and host a family game night. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received for this post. All images courtesy of Redbox.

I love Redbox. We use it all the time. It’s a nice supplement to Netflix.
