Little Miss Techie and I were in San Francisco for the weekend for a visit to Skywalker Ranch, home of Skywalker Sound, and LucasFilm offices that include LucasArts and Industrial Light and Magic. We were treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the magic of the Star Wars films before Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace comes out in 3D on February 10.
It was an incredible visit full of many favorite experiences, including time with Obi-Shawn learning the Jedi arts!

One part of the trip she didn’t love so much? Stormtroopers at breakfast!

After being schooled as a young Jedi, she felt woefully unprepared for the following morning’s meetup with Stormtroopers since she was without her trusty lightsaber but time with RD-D2 and Yoda was most welcome!

With Little Miss Techie’s help, we’ll share more about the things we did and saw during our trip in more posts next week.
Little Miss Techie and I were guests of 20th Century Fox and all opinions are our own. Additional light saber for Captain Computer was personally purchased as was other fan gear to commemorate our trip.

What a fabulous experience!!
Looks like it was a lot of fun. My daughter doesn’t like the Stormtroopers much either 🙂
