1. Enter your sitters’ information, including their mobile number. Rest assured this information is only visible to you.
2. Choose which sitters to contact when for your time away from the kids
3. SitterScout contacts your sitters via text.
4. When a sitter accepts a job via text, parents get a text letting them know immediately.
If there are any details about the job that you need to communicate with your sitter, use the comment feature in the job details page.
Invite your favorite sitters to get first dibs on jobs. Let’s be honest. We all have our favorite sitters. SitterScout lets parents invite their sitters in “rounds,” so favorites get first dibs. If other sitters are free but the job was accepted by someone else first, they’re added to the “wait list.” Or if you love your sitters equally, you can choose to contact everyone at once.
SitterScout works behind the scenes to make scheduling easy. It handles any of the back and forth of notifying sitters that the job has been filled so no extra time is required on the parents’ part to let sitters know the job has been filled or they’re on the waitlist.
Need to make a change? No problem! Any jobs can be easily edited through Job Details and SitterScout will notify the sitter who accepted the job of the change. SitterScout automatically sends out a confirmation to your original sitter to check their availability. If the original sitter isn’t free, it sends out a text to others who had been invited to accept the job.
