Quick! Get all of your screen time in before sundown when the third annual National Day of Unplugging begins. The idea for the day began after a panel at South by Southwest called Tech Detox: Can You Survive a Day Without Technology? During the panel, attendees heard industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and superstars of the tech world share their secrets of unplugging. By unplugging panelists found “more power in their everyday lives by creating the sacred ‘no connection’ time regularly.
Taking time to unplug daily is what I need to make it through the work week where I spend a majority of my time connected. It’s my chance to spend quality time together as a family, having conversations with our kids, and doing the things we love that don’t involve a plug or a screen.

I usually am not online right now… I am a nightowl, so my unplugging normally occurs until about 5pm with the exception of some afternoon parties with gals I really like.
The other thing about the net is the whole time you are sitting- that has been my undoing for getting healthy!
I think we can not survive if the internet will totally close. My source of income is in the internet.Every minute that has no internet connection is a huge loss.
