It always seems that summer goes by too quickly. We just have a couple more weeks until the school year starts and rather than procrastinate by shopping for back to school items at the last minute, we’re starting early. I prefer shopping with the kids when we can take our time and browse rather than feeling rushed.
This weekend we’re heading to the mall and making a stop at The Gap. Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, birthplace of The Gap, it was a tradition to shop for new clothes and accessories (matching socks, anyone?) before school started and now I love carrying on the same tradition with my own kids. Here’s a look at some of the styles you’ll see in store this Fall!
If you’re heading to GapKids store on a Saturday in August, GapKids across the country are hosting Shine On Saturday events for some fun during back to school shopping. Kids can join GapKids for special art projects by Merrilee Liddiard of Mer Mag. Projects like creating geometric masterpieces on canvas using paint and tape to colorful, custom journals will help get kids ready for back-to-school and express their creativity.
