Potty training. It’s a period in our kids’ lives that I’m glad is well over with but if potty training is on the horizon, desperation may make you resort to iPotty, a plastic portable toilet training potty with a rotating iPad stand. Take a look!
CNET reports that it comes with a plastic film to cover it and a splash guard for boys. Splash guard? Just a plastic film? I’d prefer that they partner with LifeProof to fully protect the iPad from well, you know. Or to have a built in holder that features a DryCase.
ABC says it’s compatible with the iPad2 and new iPad. According to Gizmodo the price of iPotty will be $40.
And where can you find the iPotty? CafeMom has the 411 on when and where it will be available to the public this year.
Apparently these are the things that I’m missing by not being at CES! I can only hope that the pitch and offer for a sample lands in my inbox any day now. Since we’re out of the potty training stages I’m happily accepting volunteers to try this new, um, device. iPad not included.
I have a LifeProof iPhone case that I love and received a DryCase sample for review. I have no doubt that those would better protect an iPad on the iPotty better than a plastic film but of course, all opinions are my own.
O.M.G. So what happens when they start using a real toilet? They’ll still want the iPad and that’s the LAST thing I’d ever let my kids hold while doing their business. They’ve dropped WAY too many things in the toilet for them to ever get to use my i-anything in the bathroom!!
OK thats just going over the top. I know you said a ‘splash guard’ but is this really needed- cant a kid even go potty without a $500 device now?
And what does it do? No, maybe I do not want to see this .
I think you’re fine missing this one 🙂
I like the idea but it’s just too much. In my opinion, they shouldn’t have come out with it.
