As kids, my brother and I spent hours watching Scooby Doo cartoons where Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby solved mysteries in spooky swamps, fun houses, and other crazy locales.
Now the much-loved Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang takes center stage in an all-new family musical, Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries at the Warner Theater on Saturday, February 16 during two special performances at 3 pm and 6 pm.
Information about the production:
Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. Gang have been called upon to help solve an epic mystery. A trouble-making ghost is haunting a local theatre and Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Scooby-Doo are on their way in the Mystery Machine to crack the case. With crazy ghosts, perplexing puzzles, and an abundance of Scooby Snacks, it’s Scooby-Doo and friends at their best, travelling across the country, solving mysteries wherever they go.
Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries at the Warner Theater features big musical numbers including the evergreen Scooby-Doo theme song, “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?,” alongside original groovy tunes such as “Round Every Corner” and “We’re Mystery Inc.” Filled with wacky new characters and uproarious antics, Scooby-Doo Live! Let’s see, my 6 year old has been obsessed with SD since her first Halloween when her older sister dressed her as a 1 year old Scooby Doo, we have had 4 birthday parties with SD theme and she has been: Scooby, Daphne, Thelma and Scrappy for Halloween! One year our whole family was even The Gang!
We love Scooby do at our house because he is just too funny
I like Velma; she’s one smart cookie!
scooby doo is my favorite the cartoon brings back a lot of childhood memories and i would love to see this thanks you
My 5 yr olds. favorite character is Scooby. She loves that Scooby can talk & hunt ghost, etc. She wanted me to go and get her some Scooby treats for her!
My four year old daughter likes Shaggy because he is silly and he eats a lot of food. My seven year old daughter likes Scooby because he is the main character and he is a dog and she loves dogs and he is crazy and eats.
Tgere are many reasons I love Scooby Doo. First of all I love him because I grew up with him, literally my mom says the first day I came home from the hospital, I watched Scooby. Second of all I always loved how the characters all had different personalities, even Scooby!! My final reason is Scooby changed my brothers life, my brother was really depressed, he used to cut himself, and he even tried to commit suicide, luckily they got to him right before he did. When he was in the mental ward, they would always put on Scooby Doo, and he would feel better, now he’s better than ever. That’s why I should be chosen.
Fred! FRED!! FRED!!!
Fred is my favorite because he’s the source of one of our favorite (all-time fave) quotes from our boy Will. We went through a SERIOUS Scooby Doo phase when he was three. He was going to a little “preschool” program, and the children needed to bring a snack. He wanted a “Scooby Dooby Doooooo” lunchbox in the worst way!!! Found a Mystery Machine lunchbox (thanks, Amazon.com) online and he was just so pleased with it, you could tell. I asked him what he liked about it and he said that he liked Fred driving. 🙂
We all love Scooby Doo at our house! Who wouldn’t want to ride around all day in a van with their pals solving mysteries for a living?
I watched Scooby Doo bunches as a child of the 70’s. My favorite (and the kids too!) happens to be Shaggy. He’s so funny, he’s best friends are awesome, he’s obsessed with food and he sometimes shows true colors of being whimpy.
Thanks for letting us know about the show!!
I have loved Scooby Doo since I was a little kid, I am now a 46 year old little kid. I have SD floormats in my truck, glasses, figureins and much more. My ultamite goal is to have a Mystery Machine before I leave this world. My son will be 6 on the 13th so it would be awsome if we could go to this. Thank you.
I love Scooby Doo and my 7 year old daughter is a HUGE fan of Scooby. Sheets, blankets, stuffed toys, DVDs, hats, shirts, you name it, she has it.
Taking her to see Scooby and the gang would truly make her squeal with joy that would melt anyone’s heart (okay, it’ll melt my heart more than anyone’s, but you get the point).
I’m a stay home mom that wishes she could do more things like this. That is why I’m trying and hoping I can make a memory she won’t ever forget.
Velma. Who could be that dorky?
My three year old little princess loves singing the Scooby theme song and is very serious about not being interrupted when her favorite show is on. Daphne is her favorite because she dances and talks a lot. She helps solve mysteries with the gang and she is so “bootiful” she says!
