If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, SMART, the iconic urban microcar, is stopping in Washington, D.C. on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Smart national funtestdrive tour that is providing locals an exclusive opportunity to test the all-new smart electric drive.
Smart electric drive is hailed as being the most affordable electric vehicle in the US and having the smallest footprint of any car in the world. It has a range of 76 miles of city driving and 122 city miles per gallon gas equivalent. Since gas prices are predicted to continue rising throughout the summer months and the government is looking to enact policies providing tax credits on sustainable vehicles that reduce carbon dioxide emissions, it’s the perfect time to drive this eco-friendly affordable electric vehicle.
