We’re in the final stretch before school starts and this is the week we’re enjoying last five days of summer while getting back into a normal bedtime routine and making sure we have all the school supplies we need for the start of the year. Over the years Office Depot has become our primary destination for back to school shopping because of the savings and style. I like to scout the sales fliers for the deals on must-have supplies so I can stock up and replenish classroom supplies throughout the year while my loyalty helps me rack up points while I shop.
I am participating in the #ODRewards campaign sponsored by Office Depot. For more information, about Office Depot Rewards, visit their .
A couple weeks ago we hit up our local Office Depot for a back to school shopping bonanza and the kids filled out cart with all kinds of things they need for the school year. Both kids loved the wide selection of essentials that allow them to reflect their different personalities. Gone are the boring composition books, pencils, and folders. These days there’s a color and pattern for everyone.
If a USB thumb or flash drive is on your school shopping list, Office Depot has ones that will make theirs stand out from everyone else’s. Why get a plain black or silver one when they can save their digital documents on Superman, Wonder Woman, or their favorite animal?
And if you’re a One Direction fan, school supplies also come with your favorite guy from the band! There are folders, tape, notebooks, and more featuring Zayn, Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam that also convey a very important anti-bullying message.
In addition to school supplies featuring pop stars and fun USB drives, Office Depot has incredible deals. I couldn’t resist getting reams of colored paper for $2. As room parent for both kids’ classes, I’m always using colored paper to print out fliers for Halloween and Valentine’s Day parties as well as end of the year teacher gift information to send home to families. $2 packs of colored paper are a steal! Take a look at the other school essentials that were on my daughter’s 4th grade supply list that we scored for just a quarter!
Both kids had a great time selecting this year’s supplies that are truly a reflection of them and I loved that our total bill for supplies (plus some Scotch Expressions duct and washi tape craft items) came to $50!
The best part about shopping at Office Depot is their Rewards program. I wrote about Office Depot Rewards and their flexible member benefits but anyone can sign up to earn money back on their purchases. For additional details and to sign up, visit the .
This year I received a gift card from Office Depot to purchase our school supplies but we’ve made many personal purchases from Office Depot throughout the years. I’m a longtime loyal customer and all opinions are my own.

Interesting. Some of those prices would be hard to say no at. I suppose I should run by my own in hopes of finding a deal on printer paper and ink.
