It’s hard to believe this is the 6th year of my Holiday Gift Guides. Every year since I started blogging in 2008, I’ve been publishing holiday gift guides to help you wade through the endless products available on store shelves and online to find the very best items for your friends and loved ones. Every year after I publish the guides, I think it might be my last however, your positive feedback through comments, tweets, and in real life conversations keep me hunting for items that’ I’d give to friends and family members or would want my kids to receive.
Tomorrow I’ll kick off the 6th Annual Tech Savvy Mama Holiday Gift Guides. Every other day throughout the month of November I’ll present you with a list of items for specific ages and interests. There will be guides for toddlers, preschoolers, early elementary ages, tweens, and teens as well as specialty guides for frequent fliers, gadget lovers, foodies, teachers (to end the gifting of mugs and apple tchotchkes!), and more!
Gift guides are truly a labor of love. I don’t accept payment from companies to feature their items in my gift guide although. I will never guarantee that sending me a product sample means the item makes the cut. I’m picky and I like to stay true to evaluating products from a parent and educator perspective to feature the best of the best.
If you find an item of interest through my gift guides, feel free to click on the link and purchase the items through my Amazon Affiliate link. It’s the only way I make money on the products and usually covers a family dinner out to thank the kids for their endless toy testing!
I hope you enjoy this year’s picks!
Note to PR: The period for accepting items for age range gift guides has ended but I am happy to accept items for review to consider for specialty guides. I regret that I cannot accept items that need to be returned unless I am granted an extended loan period to return them in January. Please be specific about the products you’d like me to consider reviewing in your pitch, if items need to be returned, and thanks for understanding I’m on a short deadline to get gift guides wrapped up before Thanksgiving.
