Home theater enthusiasts who love brilliant pictures and have considered upgrading their home television to a high definition TV (HDTV) should skip the HDTV and go straight to the 4K ultra high resolution displays that feature gorgeous colors. 4K ultra-high definition models (commonly referred to as 4K UltraHD, 4K UHD, or UHDTVs) are the biggest trend in televisions thanks to vibrant viewing experiences of lifelike images that come from more pixels per square inch than previous televisions.
4K Ultra HD resolution measures a minimum of 3840 x 2160 pixels or 2160p. Compare this to Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels and 1080p) and traditional HD (1280 x 720 pixels at 720p) and the numbers speak for themselves. 4K UHD screens contain two times the pixels of a Full HD screen.
Advantages of a 4K UltraHD viewing experience include:
- Stunning resolution— Get four times the picture resolution of Full HD 1080p. The increased pixel allows you to sit very close for a fully immersive experience.
- Experiences that are more lifelike—Experiences that feel breathtakingly lifelike with amazing level of detail.
- Better picture quality— 4K Ultra HD improves the quality of all current move & TV shows to gorgeous nearly 4k Ultra HD quality
