Earlier this month GoPro sent me a HERO4 Session Welcome Kit that contained an incredible array of accessories and instructions to just go out and have fun creating content. I’ve been a fan of GoPro for quite some time because of the endless possibilities to be had with these tiny cameras but the brand new HERO4 Session ($399.99) is the smallest and lightest the company has made to date. Shaped like a cube, this tiny camera features a rugged waterproof design, easy single button control, shoots 1080p video or 8mp photos, and uses the same mounting system as previous generations of GoPro.
Having owned a HERO3, I have to say that the size and design of the HERO4 Session makes it stand out from our previous GoPro. The cube simply pops into the low profile frame and the Ball Joint Buckle gives you the freedom to change the angle without having to un-mount the camera.
While a favorite of outdoor and extreme sports enthusiasts, GoPro cameras are really for everyone. The simple, yet rugged design, easy to operate controls and size make them perfect for adventurous families and kids who love to create content.
So with the freedom to create content of our choice, we strapped the GoPro HERO4 Session to Oliver, our 7 year old Yellow Labrador, while in Baltimore for a dog’s perspective on the Inner Harbor. No fancy mounts were needed. Rather than using the GoPro Fetch Dog Harness, I simply clipped the camera into the frame, attached it to The Strap ($59.99), and took him for a walk.

GoPro sent me a HERO4 Session Welcome Kit with the freedom to create. All opinions are my own. No compensation was received for this post.
So cool! On a recent family trip my sister brought her GoPro and I was amazed with how easy it was to use and so small. Perfect for any kind of travel.
This is the coolest thing ever! Love everything from the dog panting to his perspective on all!
I would capture EVERYTHING! I want one so badly. I really could have used one last week on our zip lining adventures in CT! Looks totally awesome!
I really want to get one of these. These are so cool and we could really have some fun with them!
