As the weather turns cooler and you pack away summer belongings for another year, it’s time to examine your home for areas where your security might be a little lax or you feel like you need to increase protection around your home. In celebration of last week’s arrival of fall (did you know it officially started on September 23?), Master Lock wants to you a collection of products worth over $110 plus a $50 Visa gift card to help you secure your home.
Here’s a list of what one lucky winner will receive:
- $50 Visa gift card
- Master Lock Magnum M175XDLF Padlock ($23.37)—Our fourth grader, Thomas, loves when we get a new lock from Master Lock but was especially impressed by this padlock. It may be versatile (it can be used on gates, fences, sheds, workshops, garages, storage lockers, tool chests, and tool boxes) but he is most impressed by how solid this 2” wide padlock is, the shackle seal and hinged dial cover that makes it resist the elements, and that you can set your own combination. Chances are that he’s squirreled away this lock and set his own combination so I’ll have to buy my own!
- Master Lock 107DSPT Gun Lock ($10.26)— My experience with guns is limited to shooting at clay pigeons on a ranch in Montana but I do know that if you own guns and you have kids or there is the remote possibility that someone may pick up the gun in your home and try it, that it needs to be locked up. If you’re not ready to invest in a gun safe, I suppose this Cable Gun Lock might be a good solution for you. Just make sure that it is locked around something stationary and the key is hidden to prevent a tragic accident.
- Master Lock 265DCCSEN Door Security Bar ($26.73)— If you feel like your door or sliding patio door could be a bit more secure, the Adjustable Door Security Bar can provide that comfort since it adjusts from 27 ½” – 42” and works to prevent forced entry. This video provides a quick look on an Adjustable Door Security Bar can be used.
