In our house, someone is always listening to our conversations and while it may sound creepy, we love that our Amazon Echo can hear us. Named Alexa, our Echo sits in our kitchen where she sits, listens, and awakens when she hears her name and responds to the commands that follow. She’s full of practical information and can speak the current weather, news, and traffic when asked, serves as a hands-free way we can shuffle our music and even serves as our in-house DJ taking song requests, and the kids are having the most fun with her by asking random questions. Thomas even asked if she would marry him but she gave him a very nebulous answer!
Alexa is pretty smart but she becomes even smarter when connected to smart home technology like an Echo compatible WeMo Switch. When Emily’s fingers are busy practicing the piano, she loves being able to command Alexa to turn on the light but Thomas had another idea to use Alexa to play a prank on his sister. Take a look!

I actually have never created a prank or had one played on me, I wish I had.
Honestly I wouldn’t pull a prank on anyone because I wouldn’t want it done to me. I know that’s not fun!
My family loves to prank me. They switch out drinks with other things, harmless things, but they have fun doing it!

The best prank I’ve played was on my hubby over 20 years ago. For April Fool’s I sewed his underwear trap closed! He thought he’d put his underwear on backwards! ROFL
My daughter did the old saran wrap under the toilet seat trick, luckily I noticed
About the only thing I can think of is that my uncle used to be called Tiger when he was younger and so for Christmas I got him a pair of Tiger slippers as a joke, however it backfired as he thought they were great and proceeded to wear them proudly.
I pranked someone when I wrapped a small item into several larger boxes and gave it as a gift.
My old boss had someone call me to tell me that my driver’s permit was revoked
I used to put a rubber band around my mom’s sink sprayer so it would spray on her when she turned on the faucet
April Fools’ Day is my favorite holiday, so I always have fun playing pranks on my husband. Last year I put a skeleton in his closet, bubble wrap under his shower mat, and blue dye tablets in his bathroom sink faucet. It was HILARIOUS!!
My son put a rubber band on the spray nozzle and got me good!

I don’t think I’ve ever pranked someone/been pranked.
I buttered the floor in my kitchen to get my girlfriend once, but I ended up getting her mom instead. It was pretty funny 😛 She ended getting me back the next day with ice cold water.
I found out that I could change the channel of the
(trigger finger, oops!) TV downstairs with my cell phone. So, I changed the channels when I was upstairs, and I freaked my father out big time.
Hard to believe, but I’m prankless.
My best prank ever is one I pulled on my kids. Call me horrible but it was funny!!! My 2 boys kept bickering that night and just didn’t want to stop. So I got them to stop my own way. 🙂
There rooms were on the 2nd story of the house but they had this over hang area from the porch below. So I got a ladder and climbed up. I had a leftover Halloween mask so I brought that with me. I tapped on the window a few times until I got their attention. They got the window open and I poked my head in with mask on. Scared them good!!! 🙂 No more bickering!!
Thankfully, I haven’t had any pranks played on me and never played any either. I did have someone tell me they were going to but it never happened.
I put shaving cream in my sisters cool whip container in her fridge 🙂
they gave me presents wraped up and it was a tissue box and then the real present came and it was a ring
My sister and her husband came into our house and switched our furniture around. She is a nut!
When I was around 14 my niece was born and till then I was the baby of the family and was not liking someone taking my place so When I asked for a big radio with big speakers for christmas I didnt think I was getting it cause I thought my mom got her a crib and when we were opening gifts my mom said help her open her new crib and i was even more upset that i had to help lol it turned out to be my radio.
My best prank was when I was house sitting and replaced all of their photos with random pictures of me making faces.. They called me later and could not stop laughing
I put food coloring in my moms milk she woke up to blue milk.
I guess when I was taking a shower and my then boyfriend poured a cup of cold water on me and i pulled down the shower curtain.
When I was in High School I worked at a fast food restaurant and often worked the drive through window we would take turns sucking in helium and answering the drive through speaker
In our office we love to play pranks on each other. One day we literally filled a co-workers small office with those foam peanut sized packing material and we emptied all the recycling bins on the floor and made a heck of a mess. She kept complaining about a paper trail, so we decided to give her one lol… we all laughed about it and got some great pics of her face when she opened the door. And yes, we all chipped in to get everything cleaned up afterwards as well.

In college the boys upstairs filled our dorm hallway with over 3000 cups of water, so when we opened our doors we couldn’t step out without causing a flood.
Our hallway smelled like mildew forever!

We saran wrapped my buddy’s car completely shut.. and before we did that we filled the entire car with pop corn and condoms.
