Better together. If there’s anything that I’ve learned as a parent, writer, and entrepreneur it’s that we’re better together, working as a community to our knowledge for the benefit of others which is why I’m very excited to introduce Lisa Frame from A Daily Pinch as a contributor to Tech Savvy Mama!
Lisa and I met years ago (2010 to be exact!) and it was a conversation about why she was letting her then 9 year old use social media that started our friendship. Little did we know that 5 years later, her discovery of The Very Public Side of Private Instagram Accounts would send shockwaves through the parent community, shattering notions that a child’s private accounts can be anything but.
These days Lisa’s life as a mom of a teen keeps her busy thinking about AP coursework, summer programs, and college applications. She’s years ahead of me in the parenting space, tackling the topics that I know are just a few years away for me and my family and since I rely on her to help me forecast the things that are ahead, I know her sage savvy advice will be helpful to you too.
Lisa will be writing about teens and how technology impacts their lives as well as the importance of technology. You’ll find her first piece here tomorrow (spoiler- she’s writing about PSATs!) and a couple times a month.
When Lisa isn’t here musing about technology and teens, you can always find her over on A Daily Pinch where her incredible pieces about life, food, culture, and travel and gorgeous accompanying photos will captivate you and make you an instant fan. Her pride in her home state of North Carolina also shines through on Handmade NC where she showcases the many hidden gems that the Old North State has to offer. FYI I’m a huge fan of her long form writing that is not only so unusual for this space but so beautifully written that I swear it’s destined for big glossy mags.
So welcome, Lisa! I’m glad that she’s here and know you will be too!
Of course you can follow Lisa on Twitter and Instagram but trust me, you’ll want to follow her Pinterest boards right now!
