Welcome to the New Tech Savvy Mama!

New look, same fabulous content. That’s what we’re going for here on the new Tech Savvy Mama site!

For so many years I’ve been head down writing content here and elsewhere that I neglected the look and feel of my site. Some say it doesn’t matter. Others think it does. Regardless, I was ready for a change.

As we parents know, change can be hard and it takes time but when you have a psychic friend connection to your web designer who you trust to make things all kinds of awesome, it’s a bit easier. Because I’m tech savvy but secretly live in fear of breaking my site. Like waking up in a cold sweat kind of fear.

So take a good look at the awesome that is here. This the incredible work of Kym Barney, owner of Hustle & Sway, middle school teacher, blogger, and mom who just gets me, my needs, and what my site is all about.

What is Tech Savvy Mama all about?

These days it’s about parenting in the digital world. We have kids. We have devices. They have devices. Living in a device filled world presents exciting opportunities and challenges to each and every one of us at every age and stage of our child’s development. While you may be tech savvy, you may feel very un-tech savvy too. And that’s ok. That’s why I’m here.

On a typical week I post three times a week- Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays- and these days follow a theme:

• Mondays- Parenting
• Wednesdays- Education
• Fridays- Tech

For you regulars out there, remember when I was posting 5x/week? That was bananas!

Sticking to a schedule has allowed me to streamline my content for you and continue to bring you the best of what’s out there. Because I’m picky and know you are too!

If you’re looking for giveaways, those will still happen on occasion on my blog when there’s a natural fit. Otherwise, check out my Tech Savvy Mama Facebook page where you can find fun giveaways from time to time like last week’s Pretzel Crisp giveaway. We love Pretzel Crisps and apparently many of you do too but these days there’s just not a good place for those on the blog!

For those of you who have been regular readers- I know- you’re nodding your head and saying it’s about time I did something different. For those of you who are new, well, I hope you enjoy looking around and you’ll come back often.
