Is Facebook the new way of connecting? How many people have you friended and are in your network of friends? How have you described your connection to these individuals to your network?
There’s a great post about Facebook by my friend Jessica on DC Metro Moms. Jessica ponders social networking while listing the hilarious ways she has told her Facebook network how she knows her friends. To read her great post, click here.

I loved Jessica’s post and btw? Phew, I have met you both live before Facebooking you! Also? My kid’s first babysitter was in town for her 5th bday and as we chatted (she and her 2 whippersnapper friends and I) we all marvelled that Facebook is not just for preteens! It was so instrumental in us hooking up so she could come say hi to my baby and her good friend on a very important day. Loved Jess’ piece and happy that you now have a forum for tech issues on LilaGuide! Way to forge ahead for us 2.0-adapting mamas…
I can’t believe how many of my 30 something friends are creating Facebook profiles. I feel like us parents are stealing Facebook from the youth. it’s awesome.
I’m a facebook fanatic! I’ve hit a strange spot though- I’m now “facebook” friends with my OB/GYN and a former college professor. It’s a little weird. What will I say at my next doctor’s appoint – Hey, Dr. James, I like your profile pic!
Good post!
