Not only am I known as Tech Savvy Mama here, but I also moonlight as the City Editor for Being Savvy Washington DC. I like to pimp the Being Savvy city sites because they are great resources when traveling to different cities.
For example, my fellow city editors deserve huge props for their great guides to their local airports. I mean whatever would I have done if I had not known about the super-cool Rube Goldberg-esque ball machine in the Southwest terminal while in the San Jose Airport? It entertained Captain Computer and Little Miss Techie endlessly as we waited for our flight home!
Check out yesterday’s post where I virtually visit 10 of my fellow city editors. I combed through their sites to bring you the best of what they wrote about their cities during the month of July in a nice concise post. And if you don’t see your favorite city in part 1, come on back to Being Savvy Washington DC to view parts 2 and 3 appearing on the site on Thursday and Friday.
And I’m all about giveaways this week having brought home way too much stuff from BlogHer! Head on over to Being Savvy Washington DC to win a copy of Tutor Rummy. Tutor Rummy is a great rummy style educational card game that will teach your kids about geography of the United States. If you want to read my full review, click here.

Savvy Source is fantastic! I can’t decide whether I love your posts about what’s happening throughout the DC area, your educational tips for having fun with kids or the exhaustive preschool reviews the most! So I just read them all. 🙂
