tiny*prints: Personalized Photo Cards, Announcements, and Invitations Made Easier When You Win $50 Gift Card!

September 29, 2008 By Leticia

As much as I love technology and the conveniences of online greeting cards, invitation services like evite, and being invited to events via Facebook, there’s nothing classier than getting an envelope filled with something gorgeous in your mailbox.
As a sucker for stationary, I’m ecstatic that tiny*prints got in touch with me to let me try out their services. Their fabulously designed high quality products are highly coveted by all of my stylish friends. I’ve always admired tiny*prints holiday cards that I’ve gotten over the past years and the darling birth announcements with pictures of newborns that arrive in our mailbox.

Shopping on the tiny*prints site is an online shopping dream. Their straightforward super easy to navigate website is perfect for quick shopping, provided you can make a decision quickly.  With so many wonderful products to choose it’s deciding what to order that will take me the longest!

Their party invitations are divine and make me want to throw a Halloween bash just to order these for a spooky party, these for a cocktail party, or these for a kid’s party.

Little Miss Techie loves to write and this year I think she might be getting some personalized thank you cards so she can practice proper etiquette and her writing skills.   And looking at the plethora of holiday photo card options with the darling pictures of other peoples’ kids made me realize that Little Miss Techie and Captain Computer can still be the subject of a great card even if they aren’t both looking at the camera at the same time.

The Tech Savvy Mama staff of me, myself, and I aren’t at the point where we are sending holiday cards let alone throwing a swanky celebratory bash but if I was, tiny*prints has plenty to choose from that would make me the envy of my colleagues!

And now for the giveaway….tiny*prints is giving one lucky Tech Savvy Mama reader a $50 gift card to use on their fantabulous site. To enter, leave a comment telling me what product from tiny*prints you would order along with your e-mail address so I can contact you when you win.

Fine print: To be eligible, leave a comment and a valid e-mail address where you can be contacted when you win. Comments must be received by Friday, October 3, 2008 at Midnight. Winner will be chosen at random by random.org and will need to reply with 48 hours to claim their prize. Prizes will be shipped directly from tiny*prints and only within the United States.

My best advice to parents of college students? Whe My best advice to parents of college students? When they say “you should come” - GO! ✈️

Over the last 4 years it’s been so wonderful to be invited for glimpses of Emily’s life on campus. I’ve been welcomed by her amazing friends who have become part of our family, met the professors, faculty & staff she talks so fondly of, and gotten to know fellow parents through trips to Family Weekend all while enjoying time with my best girl. 💕

Today I’m heading home as a proud mom with a full heart for all that I’ve experienced on campus during her college years and am in disbelief I’ll be back for graduation next week. 🥹

I continue to be in awe that we put something in space that existed up there for 5 months. 🥰 Our CubeSat took photos 📸 and tweeted 🐦‍⬛them out as we hoped it would thanks to the many students (and parents!) who have been involved in our meaningful real-world hands-on STEM project that enabled them to learn about technology and space over the past 11 years.

I found some old notes from a 2015 meeting and under Questions, I wrote: “If we are successful, would we do this again?”

And the answer is yes! 🎉 Here’s to SilverSat 2.0 and involving more kids to dream up a new mission for our next Silver Spring CubeSat! 💕

Happy #MedalMonday to everyone who ran a race over Happy #MedalMonday to everyone who ran a race over the weekend and is adding new race bling to their collection! 🎉 I did a thing this weekend too but it didn’t involve another race! 😂Here’s the before, swipe ⬅️ for the after!

Inspired by seeing @allytbrett_runs ’s race medals, I did a little medal reorg that makes my OCD self happy. 🙌🏼Pro tip- Instead of sliding the bar of the medal rack through the ribbon, I looped the ribbon around the bar so all the medals face forward! This small thing made a huge difference and makes me happy every time I walk into my office!💕

My next race is the 25th anniversary @stjude Memphis Marathon Weekend on December 5th. I’m thinking this anniversary year medal will be the start of a new medal rack, just like my 15th anniversary medal started this collection.🫶🏼

If you want to run Memphis with me, race registration is open! Comment Memphis and I’ll DM you the registration link and happy to answer any and all race ❓s!

Race medals are great but charity bling is better! Race medals are great but charity bling is better! 🏅When I first started running for @stjude 10 years ago, I thought I’d be one and done but here I am- 15 races later and having raised almost $50,000! 🎉

The goal has always been to help end childhood cancer and I feel so fortunate to have met the most amazing people along the way. My fellow @stjudedc Hero Ambassadors are a group of dedicated baddies who I adore. 🥰

We cheer for each other on and off the course and as my friend & fellow DC Hero Ambassador @jess_santora says, “My goal was never just to reach the finish line- it was to help more people get there too.” 🏃🏻‍♀️

Here’s to more races, more money raised for St. Jude, and forever friendships! Already excited (and fundraising) for St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend this December. ✨Fundraising link in bio and donations of any amount are appreciated to help me reach my $4,000 goal! 🙏🏼

I am so proud of each and every one of us and especially incredibly grateful that OTFSS members said yes to running today! 🥰

We fundraised, trained, and ran to give families hope that their kids will survive childhood cancer and to support researchers as they work towards a cure for childhood cancer and other life threatening diseases. 💕

As a mom of 2, I know no parent should ever have to hear “your child has cancer” so thank you Team OTFSS for supporting St. Jude’s mission by running the streets of DC! We did it and I’m already looking forward to next year’s RNR DC race so we can do it again!🧡🧡🧡
