Ever since Tegu blocks came into our home, they have been one of our favorite open ended toys. There’s nothing like the satisfying click as these eco-friendly sustainable wood blocks connect with magnets to create vertical and horizontal masterpieces that are only limited by the imagination. Now imagination has wheels with the introduction of Tegu Mobility, a line that adds functionality thanks to wooden wheels rimmed with rubber for smooth rolling that attach to any Tegu block.
Create vehicular masterpieces on wheels by purchasing a set of 4 wheels ($15) or start with the Mobility Compacts like Dart and Hatch ($38 each) sets that contain the colorful Tegu blocks and 4 magnetic wheels.

Maddy Micro and Riley Roadster are also a great way to add Tegu Mobility to your collection, especially for younger car fanatics. Both Maddy and Riley are nicely priced at $19 and feature a wooden car silhouette and 4 wheels.
Car lovers ages 4-12 can enter Tegu’s How Do You Roll Sweepstakes for a chance to work with Tegu’s designers to design their next car and then take a trip to the Tegu factory in Honduras to see it roll off of the production line as the grand prize! For more information, visit the sweepstakes page and enter before the end of January.
I received a set of Magnetic Wooden Wheels and Hatch for review purposes and look forward to adding to our collection. Images courtesy of Tegu.

I can’t remember where but I read once that toys are best when they invite imagination instead of play being forced on the child – and these kind of toys are exactly that. I’m glad you wrote a review!
We LOVE our tegu blocks! I seriously considered getting some sets of wheels for Christmas but didn’t…maybe for our next gift-giving occasion!
