Since we’re just finishing up Valentine’s chocolates in our house, I’m hoping the Easter Bunny will go light on the candy and heavy on alternate spring themed treasures and things that can be enjoyed as a family.
Every weekend we have a movie night and this weekend’s pick was Hop, a darling family movie that blends fantastic animation with live action for a little bit of Willy Wonka magic and a message of pursuing one’s dreams. The positive tone of the movie, plus the fact that it’s enjoyable for kids and adults alike, would be the star feature in a movie themed Easter basket.
If you’re feeling short on time with Easter quickly approaching this Sunday, I’ve assembled a list of Hop themed items for a movie themed Easter basket that are readily available from Amazon or your local big box retailer.

Plush E.B. Bunny or another equally cute brown rabbit with floppy ears.
While we truly enjoyed Hop, make sure it’s a movie that is right for your family by watching additional trailers on the official Hop Movie site and reading the review on Common Sense Media.
