If you find inspiration all around you, it can sometimes be difficult to organize your ideas especially as you plan your family’s Thanksgiving feast. I know that I’ve been marking pages in cooking catalogs from Williams Sonoma, Penzey’s Spices, and King Arthur Flour for ingredients to order, tearing recipes from favorite magazines, while pinning delectable recipes from around the web on my Pinterest Thanksgiving board. I’m an all around Thanksgiving mess but I’m starting to streamline my Thanksgiving thanks to Springpad.
I learned about Springpad long ago but just started using it to create my Kid-Friendly Thanksgiving notebook where I’ve included some fun Thanksgiving themed crafts and apps.
Springpad is an amazing way to save, share and act on what’s important to you. It allows you to create notebooks for recipes, books, movies or anything else that matters to you. They can be private or collaborative. Springpad enables you to save ideas and info from anywhere and access them on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer. Springpad is available for free on iOS, Android and the Web and works seamlessly across all three.
Springpad and Breville are teaming up to help you organize your Thanksgiving with the Organize Your Thanksgiving Contest.
Here’s how to enter in 3 easy steps:
- Create a Springpad notebook of your favorite recipes, entertaining idea, decorating tips and more. Get creative!
- Tag your notebook with #Turkey2012 to enter it in the Organize Your Thanksgiving Contest.
- Share your notebook with your friends and family through Facebook, Twitter or email. With Springpad’s new Facebook Like integration, your friends don’t need to have a Springpad account to Like your notebook! The three notebooks with the most Facebook Likes and Springpad Follows win a Breville Countertop Smart Oven!
Here’s how you win the Breville countertop oven:
- The three notebooks with the most cumulative Facebook Likes and Springpad Follows will win a Breville Countertop Smart Oven!
- Your friends and family can vote twice by both following AND liking your notebook.
Please note that the above contest is being held by Springpad and Breville. The contest will close at 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Winners will be announced on the Springpad Facebook Page on Friday, November 16, 2012.
Springpad and Breville have also offered an immersion blender for me to giveaway to one Tech Savvy Mama reader!
Enter below and good luck!

Well i’m sure someone is going to be expecting me to make one of these (I won’t be using the same recipe, but i’m pretty sure my cousin’s recipe isn’t posted online) http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/mamas-pound-cake-recipe/index.html.
