The morning struggle is real and even though there was a time where I didn’t drink coffee, now I can’t imagine having a cup to start my day. During the week our mornings start an hour earlier now that Emily has started middle school. On the weekends, we love bonding over family movie nights that can run a bit late especially when there are 9 am soccer games that involve leaving the house at 8 am the next day. I know you get it. We’re all in the same boat!
So coffee. Like my friend, Lisa, wrote the morning ritual of coffee wakes me up. Most days a single cup is just what I need as we sit and talk to prepare for our day over breakfast. Sometimes I need my coffee to go as I race out the door to head to a rare in-person meeting after walking Thomas to school. Occasionally there’s the need for the all day pot because some days are just like that.
These days I’ve loving the flexibility of the Black + Decker Café Select Dual Brew Coffeemaker with Travel Mug ($129.99) that is like having two coffeemakers in one. It allows me to brew a single serving for the road into the included 20 ounce travel mug or a full 12-cup carafe to savor and share throughout the day. Take a look at its versatility and how easy it is to use!

I’ve been shopping and comparing makers like this one for months. Haven’t seen this one in stores near me. One day I will find the one that makes my husband happy.

I like the versatility of the Black & Decker Cafe’ Select Dual Brew Coffeemaker. The fact that you can make a cup of coffee from 6 ounces up to 20 ounces at a time or a 12 cups of coffee in the carafe is great.

Hi….I felt as though your review only touched on the basic functions of this coffee maker but didn’t offered very much insight as to the quality, taste and temperature of coffee that this appliance makes. Nor was there any mention of how long it takes to brew a full pot or the various sizes of single serve. Does the heating plate get hot when you are just using the single serve function or does it only get hot when you’re brewing into the carafe? Please post a reply as I am interested in this coffee maker but would like more information before committing to buy. Thank you.
